Would you like a simple and easy way to donate to the Lewis and Clark Humane Society? Start saving your pennies (and other change) for pets.
Pick up loose change around the house, put it in a jar, and save it for the LCHS. Retrieve the change from the bottom of your purse, from the kitchen table, from your pockets, from the washing machine, from the pockets of clothes to be washed, from the crevices in your furniture, and from the floor of your car. You could also keep the pennies that you used to put in the penny container at the check out. Don’t miss any spot, and you won't miss the change.
These pennies, nickels, dimes, and quarters add up to over $100 a year. With $100 a year per family, if only 100 of you contributed over and above your average donation, this would be an additional $10,000 per year for the shelter.
