JUNIOR LCHS AMBASSSOR TAKES THIRD PLACE WIN
Madison Blixt, one of LCHS young volunteers, participated in Media Fest, by creating a video of her personal experiences with the family dog and her LCHS volunteering experiences.
After adopting her puppy, Madison noted that her new puppies begin developing a whole new personality. That got Madison to thinking about other animals, and so she teamed up with her Aunt Deb to volunteer at the shelter. (LCHS Note: You must be 14 years old to volunteer without a parent/guardian or older sibling.)
Madison loves animals, and wanted to help other animals in need, so the shelter was a perfect match. Thus she chose the shelter as her video project. The video depicted her experiences and the shelter needs for the animals.
This was a juried event, with 120 students participating and Madison garner Third Place! Wow!!!
If you are a young person and wish to follow Madison’s lead…check the animal shelter website for volunteering information: mtlchs.org.
