Lewis & Clark Humane Society Celebrates “Adopt a Cat Month” with Special Prices
Month of Promotions Culminates in Special $5-a-Cat Promo
In celebration of June being Adopt a Cat Month, the Lewis & Clark Humane Society has been offering special promotional pricing on shelter cats all month. As June draws to a close, the last week will feature re-runs on all the prior specials PLUS an additional promo of $5 cats, shelter officials announced today.
Beginning Tuesday, June 28th, through Saturday July 2, five cats will be selected and priced at just $5. If a prospective adopter chooses one of the five, they will only pay $5. “This promotion will showcase our ‘fabulous felines’ who are patiently waiting in the shelter to meet their forever family or forever friend.” said Gina Wiest, shelter Executive Director. “This fun promotion gives adopters the chance to meet ALL our adoptable cats, and use their intuition to see if they can pick the $5 feline. It’s an added incentive to encourage people who have love to give to come help a homeless cat.”
Prior promotional pricing that will be accepted the last week of June are:
- All black cats: 20% off
- “Flab-ulous Felines” — $2.00 off any cat that weighs over 10 pounds
The shelter is open for prospective adopters to meet and greet the cats in the open cat room Tuesdays - Friday, 12-6pm, and Saturdays from 12:00-4:30pm. Cats can also be viewed on the shelter’s website: www.mtlchs.org. All cats come spayed/neutered, micro-chipped and vaccinated with a bag of food and a coupon for a free vet visit. Cash, check and credit cards are accepted. Completed and approved application forms must be submitted. Forms can be downloaded off the shelter website to speed up processing time at the shelter
